June
23, 2014
On Monday,
June 9th, City
Council
approved the
Fiscal Year 2015 (FY15)
user fees
for the
development
services
groups of
Engineering
Land Development,
Planning and CDOT.
Engineering’s
Land
Development
fee schedule is
attached to this newsletter.
The FY15 User Fee Schedule will also be available on
the Resources Page of the Development
Services web portal on July 1st.
Please note some of the changes for FY15:
- The
Commercial Tree Fee and Commercial Tree Preservation fee
will be applied, if applicable, to Urban Design reviews.
Historically, the Urban reviews were for uptown sites where
little to no trees were required. Now the
Urban zoning incorporates a multitude of zoning
classification where trees save and tree plantings are
required.
- In an effort to make permitting
easier for our customers, there is one common per acre fee
of $100 for detention, grading and major commercial
subdivisions.
- Both the residential and
commercial scaled tree fees will use a common $10
multiplier. To mirror the commercial tree fee multiplier of
$10 per new tree, the residential tree fee multiplier has
been reduced from $15 per acre to $10 per acre.
Commercial plans submitted to Engineering Land Development for
the
initial review
must pass the gateway review by 5:00pm on Monday, June 30th
to
be eligible
to remain at
the FY14 fee schedule.
The FY15 fees
will apply to all new projects submitted after the close of
business on Monday, June 30th.
